It strikes me that many people stick with a religion because they are not aware that there is an alternative. And to some extent they are correct because, as far as I am aware, there is no movement which provides a 'product' which fulfils the 'needs' that seem to be catered for by religions.

I think we have a unique opportunity, at this point at the beginning of the 21st Century, to build such a movement which not only provides an alternative to the religious products, but provides a product which is much better, and attractive, than anything they can imagine.

Now, I have some ideas of my own, but would first be interested in what everyone else thinks, in terms of what could, or should, this movement (let's call it Dogonism) provide to satisfy the needs of the 'religious' as well as developing something far superior which can bring rationality back to the world and help the human race to lead satisfying, contented and peaceful lives.
