I find it strange that there is not a section of civil liberties. With civil liberties currently under assult with the terrorisim bill and the effective removal of habeas corpus, one of our fundemental rights. Also what should be discussed is the rights of non citizen residents like those who might be deported and separated from their families for commiting the most innocuous crime if the proposals announced by the home secretary yesterday become law

I wholeheartedly agree. Legislation on civil liberties has repercussion for freedom, democracy and nation building but also directly impacts on policy areas such as employment, family, immigration.
