I'd like to suggest we have a debate on environmental sustainability or "One Planet Living" (OPL) as ecological footprinters increasingly describe it.

I should declare an interest in that I work part time for WWF who have been developing the OPL concept (!), but its great food for thought and is now integrated into Defra's sustainable dev strategy. They have extended the idea further with a chapter dedicated to the "One Planet Economy".
