CentreForum's latest report about higher education funding was launched yesterday.

The Guardian covered the report on its story 'Support tuition fees, Lib Dems told'

A summary of the arguments was also posted on Comment is Free ('Scrapping tuition fees won't work') which has attracted some comment.

More comment has been attracted to the LibDemVoice posting of the same article, including follow up pieces from Tim Leunig (supportive) and Paul Holmes (not supportive).

You can, of course, read the full paper on the CentreForum website before coming to your own conclusions.

???
Barack Obama revolutionised the way Presidential campaigns are run with his use of social media. By the end of his campaign he had 13 million names on his email list, 5 million friends on more than 15 social networks, 3 million friends on Facebook alone, and nearly 2000 official Youtube videos. But Obama is not alone in using online social networking skills, a whole generation of new campaigners are using the internet to gain support for their campaigns. Channel 4’s new cross-platform web and tv project, Battlefront, has cherry-picked 20 teenage campaigners who are doing just this. For these Battlefronters social networking is second nature, and it therefore makes total sense to use it for their campaigns. They have used websites such as Vimeo, Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, Flickr and Battlefront.co.uk to enhance their campaigns, gain support, and make their voices heard.

If you want to find out more about our amazing campaigners, and if you would like to have a look at the press release please email me, or visit channel4.com/battlefront
Feel free to get in contact if you have any queries or questions.

Kind regards,
Eliza Leonard

Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
